间充质干细胞治疗2型糖尿病的临床研究现状

摘要:
2型糖尿病的发生、发展与胰岛β细胞功能缺陷、胰岛素抵抗密切相关,自身免疫系统介导的炎症反应在其中发挥重要作用。近年来,间充质干细胞(mesenchymal stem cells, MSCs)移植成为治疗糖尿病的研究热点。关于干细胞移植治疗2型糖尿病的临床有效性和安全性,目前仍存在争议。本文综述国内外开展的MSCs治疗糖尿病及其并发症间的研究现状,总结研究中存在的相关问题和经验教训,为后续临床治疗提供新思路。

Abstract:
The pathogenesis and development of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) are closely related to pancreatic β-cells functional deficiencies and insulin resistance. The inflammatory response mediated by the autoimmune system plays an important role in this process. In recent years, mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) transplantation has become a research hotspot in the treatment of diabetes. However, there are still controversies about the clinical effectiveness and safety of stem cell transplantation in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. This article reviews the current status of research in the field of MSCs therapy for diabetes and its complications at home and abroad, and aims to summarize the relevant problems and lessons learned and to provide new ideas for its further clinical application.
