肥胖诊断和评估技术

摘要:
肥胖是一种代谢性疾病已成共识,肥胖的发生与基因、环境、生活方式及炎症关系密切。单纯以BMI作为诊断标准已不能满足临床对肥胖的诊治需求。本研究团队曾在国内首次提出基于代谢的肥胖分类标准。在此基础上,本文将从代谢的角度对目前常用的肥胖诊断技术(BMI、腰围、超声、CT、MR和PET-CT)进行综述,以提高对肥胖的精确诊断。

Abstract:
Obesity has been widely accepted as a metabolic disease and it is closely related to the genetics, environment, and inflammation. Body mass index has not been revised for decades and could not meet the needs of clinical diagnosis and demands for specific treatment at present. We have proposed a metabolism-based classification of obesity for the first time in China. Based on this, this article reviews the currently used obesity diagnosis techniques (BMI, waist circumference, ultrasound, CT, MR and PET-CT) from the perspective of metabolism to improve the accuracy of obesity diagnosis.
