Abstract: |
Objective To determine the plasma contents of 12 trace elements in children with leukemia by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Methods Plasma samples were collected from 300 children with leukemia and 60 health children. The samples were diluted with Triton X-100 and butanol after digested with HNO3-H202, and the contents of 12 trace elements were measured by ICP~MS method. Results In meaurement of 12 plasma trace elements, the limits of detection ranged from 0. 000 2 μg/L to 1.12 μg/L with the precision (RSD) of 0.87% - 4.0%. The spike recovery rates for most elements were 91.0% - 110%. Conclusion Results show that the plasma levels of Zn and Fe are lower, and As, Pb and Cu are higher in leukemia children than those in healthy children. |
