| Abstract: |
| Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder commonly encountered in clinical practice. Family functioning plays an important role in the occurrence, development, and treatment of schizophrenia. Healthy family functioning in patients with schizophrenia will not only reduce the recurrence but also enhance the efficacy of treatment and improve the prognosis. The purpose of this article is to review the assessment of family functioning in patients with schizophrenia and the effect of family intervention on the disease outcome. |
